Since I havn't gotten around to planting this little pansy (or is it Viola?) yet, I thought I might as well take a picture of it. Oh, and unlike when I tried this exact same shot yesterday, I got out the tripod. Same 2.8 100mm macro lens. The shot hand held was a failure - this one (taken w/ tripod tonight in the last 5 minutss of daylight) is closer to expressing how I love these cheery littleflowers. Reminder to self - next time skip step one.

1/12/2010 Pansy

The tripod is the only way to go in the low light. NO matter how you think you can hold it quietly or try to steady yourself, it just NEVER works. I love this and esp. the color! You know me and the blue colors!
