12/29/10 Pink Camelia

The camelias are blooming now, and are as pretty as roses.

12/28/10 Porch Lights

Such fun holiday lights on this pretty little porch.

12/27/10 Creek

The creeks are getting full with all  of the rain we have had, and the grass is turning green.

12/26/2010 Arched Rock Coastline

In a small break from the rain, the coastline was clear but still pretty chilly.

12/25/2010 Christmas Cat

River loved his Christmas collar with its cute jingle bells!

12/23/2010 Poinsettia

I love the center of these gorgeous flowers, which actually is the flower of the Poinsettia.

12/22/10 Catch It!

That old story, the cat tries to catch the mouse/toy.

12/21/10 Farm Town

The local countryside.

12/20/10 Card Factory

My little worhshop, whereI  have printed around 200 holiday business cards during the last week.  Sorry, my friend's and family's cards will be late!   But coming soon . . . Maybe for New Years . . . .:-)   OMG do I have your new address?

12/19/10 Shopping Flags

Flags flying at the outlet mall!

12/18/10 Persimmon Tree

I love the orange of the persimmons in front of this cute Victorian house.

12/16/10 Redwood Christmas Trees

These giant redwoods are decorated on the main street of Petaluma every year (in B&W).

12/15/10 The Creamery

The Petaluma Creamery, right down the street, decorates  lights and Santa on his wagon.

12/14/10 Raku

Gerald and Kelly Hong, who live in Petaluma, make these wonderful raku pottery pieces, which they market mostly to designers.  She makes the decorative elements like the face on this piece.

12/13/10 Winter Sunset

Such a pretty sunset tonight.

12/12/10 Red Leaves

These red leaves were lying on the street in Petaluma and I really liked the bright color of these leaves - amazing!

12/11/10 Foggy Sunset

It was foggy toward the coast, but this is the edge of the fog, swirling around at sunset.

12/10/10 Believe

My girls - in front of Macy's Union Square in San Francisco, where we had a wonderful lunch and some holiday shopping.

12/9/10 Tree Skirt

Umm, that is supposed to be under the tree, but River seems to think it is his new special pretty bed!

12/8/10 Christmas Lights

A well decorated house in Petaluma.

12/7/10 Magnolia

This one is getting ready to bloom quite early, its leaves are still yellow with its fall color.

12/6/10 LIttle Bird

When the deer dump the birdseed, the birds still manage to scrape up a few seeds.

12/5/10 Christmas Oak

One of my neighbors at the cabin decorates all of these huge oak trees outside with tons of lights. It looks really cool!

12/4/10 Valley View

One of the classic views of Yosemite - El Capitan on the left and Bridal Veil Falls on the right.

12/3/10 Lake Tulloch

Shot this from the bridge over Lake Tulloch, on the way to the cabin.

12/2/10 Dog In Yard

The Christmas lights on this house are crazy but I also loved the Dog In Yard sign on the gate.  Plus, apparently this house is some sort of wildlife habitat, and has bird houses over this gate as you can see.

12/1/10 Cattle

End of the day in cow land.
