The Long Way Home. The drive from Boothbay Harbor, Maine to Miami, Florida. This photo was taken on a cloudy day somewhere in rural Georgia, while I was walking one of the pups as my husband filled the tank with gas. I thought the flag hanging from the porch added a sweet touch to this dreary little house on such a dreary day.
