Since the mustard flowers looked so great when I drove to the cabin, I made a point to come back a bit early so I had about an hour to drive through the Carneros region of Napa and Sonoma and shoot there at the end of the day. I liked the little red barn at the top of the hill and tried different focus points within the image. The depth of field on this version (at f8) seemed about right, with the focus toward the back of this row of vines.

1/10/09 Carneros Mustard Flowers
Since the mustard flowers looked so great when I drove to the cabin, I made a point to come back a bit early so I had about an hour to drive through the Carneros region of Napa and Sonoma and shoot there at the end of the day.
