I often see the American Avocets at Shollenberger Park, my favorite place for a walk, where you can always observe many differnt birds. (you probably need to view large to really see the birds, though :-) I love to watch them swoosh their long beaks across the mud, looking for snacks.

I guess this is kind of dark. It was dark out when I took this, but maybe I should lighten it up a bit more.
