Today, I was at a hospital in Miami Beach with Les, being his chemo buddy. He is so brave. I am so proud to call him my friend. As the sun was setting, I saw how pretty the view was outside. Then I noticed how dirty the window was. It made sense to me. You can view such wonder and such wealth, but none of that matters if you are ill. Then the view, no matter what it is, is stained. Like the window in this room with my friend. I hope you can get this. Because at the time, it summed up life perfectly.

This photo is also a self portrait (your reflection, that is!), which I guess also shows who was there for him :-) You are nice to give him such support, which was right inside the room with him :-) (Please give Les my best, too!)

Well, I love these kind of self portraits. We look so much better than the ones which are in focus........... Hahahah. Perfect lighting!
